I’m Brooke. Wife, mom of three, and the person behind this little blog that started as The Perennial Prepster and has grown into something that feels a lot more like my actual life.
When I started this space, it was mostly about style. And style will always be a core part of what I share here. But somewhere along the way — through marriage, three babies, a few house moves, and a lot of chaotic mornings — it became about something bigger. It became about the way you live. About getting dressed without stress, creating a home that actually feels like yours, and finding the grace in everyday moments that are beautiful and messy all at once.
I’m a mom in the thick of it — a five-year-old, a three-year-old, and a baby — and I genuinely believe that classic style is one of the simplest tools you have for feeling like yourself on even the hardest days. Not because what you wear matters more than everything else, but because when getting dressed is easy and intentional, it frees up your energy for the things that actually do.
